Thank you for visiting our website. We are a vibrant Jewish community spanning more than 150 years of rich history in Siouxland. Our synagogue is the center of an inclusive, dynamic, and unified community that strives to bridge tradition and modernity while engaging the next generation of Jewish leaders. We serve a diverse and multi-generational Jewish denomination. Our commitment is to welcome all who wish to participate.
We offer children and adult Jewish educational, social, and religious opportunities and many other exciting programs.
Our community members come together to learn, pray, meet new friends, and embrace Judaism in the modern world.
Our History
Beth Shalom brings the historical traditions of the Sioux City synagogues that merged in 1994 to form the current congregation. We guard the legacies of our founders, and we follow their example as we move forward to the future.
