1860’s

First Jewish immigrants of German, Ukrainian, and Russian origin arrived in Siouxland.

 1884

Adas Jashurun, the first Orthodox Synagogue was built.

1890

Jewish Population reaches 200 people.

1901

Mount Sinai Temple was established.

1910

Shaare Zion Congregation established.

1994

Congregations merged at Beth Shalom.

2005

Guy Greene appointed Rabbi.

2020

Congregation Beth Shalom started providing virtual services.
